Getting Started for Business Owners

Welcome to Dish Out!


Our team is so excited to have you join our Dish Out family, below you’ll find a quick outline of the items and information you’ll need to create your business account, and set up your Dish Out balance. When you head to our website, mydishoutapp.com you’ll click on “Join Now’ from there you’ll be directed to make your profile. 


Step 1: ACCOUNT DETAILS

  • Enter initial user information 

    • Preferably a managers or owner’s information 

      • First/Last Name, Phone Number, Email, Password, and DOB

      • Business Photo/Logo

    • The phone number provided will receive a verification text

    • Enter the code, from the text to proceed with creating the business account


Step 2: OWNERSHIP INFORMATION

  • Owner’s Name

  • Email Address

    • This info should be different from the “Account Details” information

  • Last Four of Social

  • Owner’s DOB

  • Owner’s Personal Address

  • EIN

  • Business Type (sole proprietorship unincorporated, trust, publicly traded corporations, corporation, llc, partnerships)


Step 3: SUBSCRIPTION

  • Monthly subscription is $150

  • Business Credit Card details


Step 4: POS INTEGRATION

  • This section varies based upon the POS system your business uses. 

  • Prior to integration we highly recommend and audit of your current menu

    • Ensure Alcohol & Food is all correctly categorized

    • If your POS is not yet integrated with Dish Out, you’ll need to proceed using a manual integration option


Step 5: BANKING INSTITUTION

  • You’ll need to have online banking credentials

    • Username

    • Password


Step 6: EMPLOYEE INVITATIONS

  • Staff will need to be invited to gain access to app

    • Individual Invites

    • CSV Invites

      • Be sure to audit staff names to ensure all match with legal names

      • The POS will not pull employees checkout if their name does not match exactly


Step 7: DISHOUT BALANCE

  • Initiate transfer from business bank account to establish balance to pay out owed tips.
